Pre-COVID, I was surfing Ma'ili Point on Oʻahu’s west side. It was one of those scorchers — sun overhead, car keys hidden, body heat off the charts after a deep spearfishing mission.

I was dragging fish through the hotel kiddie pool like a medieval war hero — feeling crispy, burned, and borderline delirious.

Out paddles this janitor on a SUP board. Dude was charging — clearly a local. He wore a hooded rashguard and a water hat, and instead of burning, I was now just... jealous.

I looked online that night. Found only one hooded rashguard. Bought it. It sucked. Stretched out like a used sleeping bag. But it worked. I was protected — from the sun, at least.

So I made a better one. After testing every option on the market, the GHOSTAMMO Hooded Rashguard was born
